Angren Technology Technikum has a rich history of its own. In 1975, based on Order No. 94 of the former State Committee for Vocational and Technical Education under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Vocational School No. 150 began operating in the city of Angren. Its construction was directly linked to the initiative of Iskandarov Inomjon Nazarovich, director of the Uzbekrezinatexnika enterprise. Over the years the institution was renamed several times: Angren City Vocational School No. 150, Vocational School No. 24, Secondary Vocational School No. 40, Secondary Vocational-Technical School No. 30, Vocational School No. 14, and from 2004 — the Angren Chemical Industry Vocational College. Under Presidential Decree No. PF-5812 of 6 September 2019, it was reorganized as "Angren Technology Technikum"; under Decree No. PF-158 of 16 October 2024, its name was refined to "Angren Technologies Technikum"; and under Decree No. PF-190 of 23 October 2025, it was given its current name — "Angren City Technikum No. 4". Today, operating under the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the college trains more than 970 young people in full-time, dual and correspondence education formats for modern industry and service sectors.
